Summary: Lon's Cooking Shack is the best barbeque (ribs, chicken, pulled pork, etc.) that I have ever had in Utah. The price is a bit high, but you won't be disappointed by the quality. Lon's is located in the shopping center with Day's Market on Provo Canyon Road. The fried cauliflower will make you feel like you are in the deep south (I know it sounds weird, but it is great!).

Product Selection
Lon's has about anything that you could want at a barbeque to choose from. One thing that really impressed my wife and I is that they let you order lunch portions at dinner time, which should be big enough for just about any appetite unless you can really pack it in. I highly recommend the pulled pork.

Product Quality
Superb - again, it is the best barbeque that I have ever had in Utah. If you like barbeque, you will not be disappointed.

Service
The service was decent. The only complaint I have is that the girl working at the counter had a friend in there and they were talking really loud (just a normal, "like," teenage conversation). The owner, Lon, did come through and was very friendly. Overall, it was a good atmosphere.

Price
It was pretty expensive for such an informal place - I think that my wife and I spent about $15 for two dinners with drinks. The cost is justified, though.

Value
Lon's Cooking Shack is a pretty good value if you don't mind spending a couple of extra bucks on a great dinner. Even if you don't make it a place you visit every week, give Lon's a shot.
