Summary: Sonic has ceased to be a staple in my diet because of bad management decisions, and possible inbreeding.
They don't get an A because Sonic Corp took down my favorite item, the Pancake on a Stick. Otherwise, their fast food menu is above and beyond the industry standard (being the only reason why I still occasionally frequent the restaurant).
I don't give them anything worse because i haven't found insects, human remains (including hair, but feces is usually undetectable), or rodent remains/body parts in the food, unlike their neighbor, Beto's. However, this operation is run by 16 year old kids, and I have been dissatisfied with the food quality 9 out of 10 times. Once they gave me tator tots that were hours old and the outside shell was hard and chewy. I requested new tots and they brought new tator tots mixed in with the old ones, most of the old ones being on the bottom. On another occasion I ordered a sunshine smoothie and was given a drink that was akin to a lemon scented bathroom cleaning agent. I later found out that their soft serve machine was down, but instead of explaining that and taking another order from me, they threw together something they thought might taste similar. My suggestion to the management is to bite the bullet and pay 30 cents an hour more for post-pubescents.
I have a friend who I happened to run into on one of my first visits to this particular branch. He ordered some food before me but didn't get it until after I had finished eating with my girlfriend. He pushed the button again and no answer whatsoever. So he flagged down a food deliverer and she took his order again. They brought out his food and it was the wrong order. Because of the ordeal, they gave him a free meal coupon for his next visit. Sans exageration, the same scenario happened again on his next visit. I kid you not, they gave him yet another free meal coupon. What's the use of the coupon, if you can't even get a meal out of these kids? I suspect that cannibus is not the only cause of their lack of attention, but that it is a deeper genetical typo.
Sonic Corp has always impressed me with their prices.
I give them a "+" for half-(edited) effort. They tried some make-goods, but well, fell on their half-(edited).
