Summary: Thai Orchid is great Thai food at half the price (or less) of places like Thai-phoon (in Gateway). It is a much smaller, more laid-back place, but overall I think the food tastes better.

Product Selection
They had everything on the menu that I have come to expect from a Thai restaurant - my personal recommendation would have to be for the Massaman Curry though my wife swears by the Pad Thai.

Product Quality
I was pleasantly surprised with how good the food was. The restaurant is kind of tucked away in a strip mall and we didn't expect it to taste very good, but it is now one of our favorite Thai restaurants in Utah.

Service
One of my favorite things about Thai Orchid is the service - the restaurant is owned and managed by a family that always treat their customers right.

Price
This is a very reasonable place to eat for Thai food - expect to pay about $10 for each person (the portions are large enough that if you are not both very hungry you should be able to share).

I've honestly never had a problem at Thai Orchid.

Value
If you like Thai food this is the place to try in Salt Lake - don't be fooled by the location, the food is fantastic.
