Millionaire Mommy,
I am glad my experiences can be related to your situation. Your daughter is lucky to have a mother who is trying to understand and be sensitive to all these issues.

Great thoughts and tips, Brooke. Stereotyping is an issue I'm dealing with as a caucasian mom to a chinese daughter. I, too, chalk it up to the offending person's ignorance.

I hope that by the time my daughter is an adult and ready for marriage, society will have become more accepting and tolerant.

Thanks for sharing your experiences.
