Hi Brooke! I'm that "guy" (Paul) who wrote the blog you linked to. Thanks for the link. You know what's funny? I just realized that I didn't do my workout today so I just dropped and did pushups for 60 seconds while writing this comment. I finished at 11:59pm, with just one minute to spare before midnight. Feels good!

Take care!

Betty-
I agree that micro shouldn't be the way to do things all the time... I see it as an easy way to reconnect with the things we really want and should be doing to get there. Sometimes when we get off track it feels much more overwhelming than it needs to be. So we avoid and get even further off track. I really think microactions can help prevent this by reigning us back in early on so we don't wander so far from the path we should be on.
Thanks for your thoughts!

Hey, I read the blog of that guy and I really liked it. I'm a hard core procrastinator, and what makes it even worse is that when I don't get something done, I get bummed out and just feel like the easiest way is to stop. Doing it "micro" style the times I wasn't able to get something done wouldn't make me feel as bad as not doing it AT ALL. I agree with the guy, and even though I think "micro" shouldn't turn into the way to do things in general, it is an incentive to keep going forward.
